The first day
Food
The slogan of this week is: Crisis, what crisis?
Of course, this has to be transferred into the food workshop too. They did their utmost to get this done. They made cheap food. All food was composed of potatoes, bacon, apples and cucumbers.
They had prepared two courses: the main course consisted of “Heaven and Earth” (a dish with apples and potatoes), potato salad and potato pancakes and the dessert was pudding.
Of course, we were just in time to taste. The people in Food will eat their own-made food. There was plenty, so we ate the food too, it was very good. At first, it did not look very good, but therefore, the taste was perfect.
Of course, it is a international project, so the internationalization is very important. Luckily, they were divided into four groups: the 3 main courses and the dessert. All nationalities were represented in all meals, so they spoke English. Also we checked the division when there were actually eating. Again, the nationalities were spread really well.
Today, the 5th of April, they will prepare a meal for the teachers: the starter is tomato soup and Spanish salad, main course is spaghetti carbonara and for dessert they’ll have muffins with white glazing and fruit.
We are going to watch their progress now, and we will keep you updated!
