Journalism
After the language course, we joined our daily journalism workshop. Our decision was based on our earlier work placements at newspapers. The workshop countinued till lunch time at 12 o'clock, which we spent for a meal in the cafeteria. The second half started at 1 pm and ends at 3 in the afternoon. The workshop was leaded by former journalist Mr Lyon who helped us with his experience.
Our aim was to publish a broad newspaper with photos and other impressions of the week including trips and other stuff. We spent lot of time in our "editorial office" which was equipped with many computers, printers, scanners and everything else we needed. In this room, our group wrote all articles using our collected information, pictures etc. that we got from our visits of the other workshops, interviews or research.
Summing up, it was a great week with much fun, a smashing team and a very good result.
Perhaps we saw the most of the school and other workshops, came a lot in contact with people from every nation and our activities were very varied.
