Language course: Dutch
We chose Dutch as our course because we normally spend several times per year in the Netherlands and experienced the culture and language as a very interesting one.
Every morning after the daily meeting, the class met our two teachers, one from "Elde college Schijndel" and one from "Sint Lodewijkscollege Bruges", for a lesson upstairs in the main building. One took about thirty minutes. In four lessons, from monday to friday, we learnt simplistic standard phrases like "How are you?", "My name is .." etc., the numbers up to twenty and we wrote down lyrics from a song we listened to. Remarkable were the differences in pronunciation between the classic Dutch and the Belgian Dutch.
In our opinion, it was a funny and helpful concern.
