Countries presentations
This time, the members of this workshop are explaining things about their country. For example how the educational system is organised, because it is not the same in every country. When you finish primary school you have to choose a path, depending on your aims and abilities.
Here in Germany you have Gymnasium, Realschule, Gesamtschule and Haupschule. In England you have two choices, Sixth form or College, in Poland you have Licum, Technikum, Sckoeh and Zawodow A. In the land of chocolate and french fries, Belgium, they have ASO, TSO and BSO, in Italy there are three options too; Liceo, Istituto Tecnico and Istituto Professional, in Spain there is only one option right after primary school, ESO. But on the other hand in The Netherlands there are up to eight paths! Praktijk Onderwijs, Vmbo-B, Vmbo-K, Vmbo-T, HAVO, Atheneum, Tweetalig atheneum and Tweetalig gymnasium.
That was only a part of the little differences among these countries. They also talked about the government and the economy, which are also very different.
